Nepal receives Bronze medal in Basketball

Nepalese men’s Basketball team won bronze medal in the 13th South Asian Games. Nepal defeated Bangladesh in a wide score (81-59) to record the victory of Bronze in Basketball.

Ashim Shrestha scored the highest points 19 while Bijaya Burja, Captain Sadish Pradhan, Aayush Singh and Saurab Shrestha scored 16, 15, 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Nepal has scored medals in all the 4 event of Basketball. Nepalese men’s team has won silver medal in 3×3 Basketball while female team has won bronze in the same category.

This edition of SAG remained special for Basketball as female team entered in the final of the South Asian Games for the first time in its history.
