Coronavirus crisis: Nepal donates 100,000 masks to China

The government of Nepal on Friday handed over 100,000 units of protective masks to the Chinese government, which is fighting to keep its residents protected from the novel corona virus infection.
As hundreds have died in China from the infection that originated in Wuhan of Hubei in the country, Nepal donated the masks “as a gesture of friendship… and solidarity with China’s fight,” informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Minister for Health and Population Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal handed over the masks to Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi at a function organised at the MoFA on Friday, informs the ministry. By Online Khabar
