Pakistan-Nepal Children Park Inaugurated in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu

       

Vok News/Kathmandu, 27 June 2025 : The Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal officially inaugurated the “Pakistan-Nepal Children Park” in Ward No. 8 of Budhanilkantha Municipality, Kathmandu, today.

Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Mr. Abrar H. Hashmi, was the chief guest at the ceremony. The event was graced by key personalities including Budhanilkantha Mayor Mr. Mitharam Adhikari, Creative Member Mr. Binod Thapa, Lions International Governor Mr. Hira Prasad Gupta, Chairman of HRS Adventures Mr. Ram Prasad Upadhaya, and social activist Mr. Siromani Sharma, along with local community members, media representatives, and officials from the Embassy.

Ambassador Hashmi expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Budhanilkantha Municipality. He highlighted that the park’s upgraded features-including new swings, a play station, and a walking track -symbolize friendship between Pakistan and Nepal. He dedicated the park to the children of the Gulftar community, calling it a “gift from the children and people of Pakistan.”

Local leaders and guests thanked Pakistan for its generous gesture, expressing hope that the park would stand as a symbol of enduring friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

This park is the third of its kind renovated by the Embassy in the last three years, demonstrating Pakistan’s commitment to building people-centric ties with Nepal through cultural and civic collaboration.
