India registered 18 gold medal in shooting

India has won 18 gold medals out of a total of 20 gold medals in the shooting. In the competition held for altogether 60 medals including gold, silver and bronze, India Managed to win 29 medals with 18 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze. In second place, Pakistan has won 14 medals including 2gold, 5silver and 7bronze. Bangladesh, which won no gold, managed to win a total of 10 medals with 6 silver and 4 bronze medals. Srilanka in the fourth place won 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. The Maldives, Bhutan and Nepal remain without medals.

In the final of the shooting competition, India won gold in the air pistol mixed event while Srilanka and Bangladesh won silver and the Bronze medal. Indian team comprising Anuraj  Singha and Shrawan Kumar won gold with the 16 points. Likewise, Srilanka’s team, K.A. I and Fernando T.D.S were stopped by 8 points for achieving the gold medal. And, Adrina Firdos and Sakil Ahmed, Bangladesh, won bronze with 17 points
