China Cultural Center in Nepal completed 3 months Thijiquan training

Ramesh Hatuwali/Kathmandu, 2024 June 6 Thursday/China Cultural Center in Nepal completed 3 months Chinese Thijiquan training for Nepali citizens for free. Today, the China Cultural Center in Nepal, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu organized a closing ceromany program for the training completion.

Director of China Cultural Center in Nepal Xiao Jiang said that she was very excited to see the perseverance of the trainees participating in the three-month Chinese Thijiquan training. She expressed happiness and apprecitated dedication and passion of the trainees, who continued their training regardless of weather.

Director Xiao Jiang also informed that Thijiquan is beneficial in various functions such as the cultivation of human nature, strengthening the body and assisting in combat. According to director Xiao Jiang, traditional Chinese Thijiquan helps to make the internal and external body healthy by integrating breathing techniques.

Besides that, Center also celebrated China’s one of the Famous Festival Dargon Boat Festival (Duanwu Jie). Director Xiao Jiang said that the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu Jie), an important festival of the Chinese people and also wished all the dignitaries present at the event.

The Dragon Boat Festival, which has been traditionally celebrated in Chinese society, falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. This year, the festival that falls in the month of June is celebrated with various programs. According to director Xiao Jiang, the festival is an annual celebration that promotes family bonding, harmony with nature and cultural identity.

Officials of various friendship organizations in Nepal, Chinese Thijiquan training participants and trainers, Chinese language teachers and media personnel were present in the program. In the program, the trained trainees also presented some glimpses of Thijiquan.
