Free health camp jointly organized by Pakistani Embassy and Pakistan Nepal Alumni Network

       

VOK NEWS/Kathmandu, 2026 June 13: A free medical camp was organized at Ward No. 4 of Nagarjun Municipality, Kathmandu, through a joint initiative of the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal and the Pakistan Nepal Alumni Network (PNAN).

The health camp provided medical services to local residents, including senior citizens, women, and children. Doctors, most of whom are graduates of Pakistani medical institutions, conducted health check-ups and consultations for the community.

According to the organizers, more than 100 patients received medical examinations during the camp. Several patients requiring advanced treatment were referred to tertiary hospitals, while essential medicines were distributed free of cost.

The event was attended by Deputy Mayor of Nagarjun Municipality Ms. Sushila Adhikari, Ward Chairperson Mr. Laxmi Ram Sharma, President of PNAN Dr. Deepak Mishra, local dignitaries, and volunteers.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Adhikari expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Pakistan and PNAN for organizing the health camp and supporting the residents of Nagarjun Municipality.

PNAN President Dr. Deepak Mishra praised the Embassy’s continued contribution to Nepal’s health sector and appreciated its efforts in strengthening people-to-people relations through humanitarian initiatives.

The Embassy of Pakistan also thanked PNAN physicians, volunteers, and local authorities for their support in making the medical camp successful.
