Javelin Throw: Pakistan beats Indian Record

One part of the Athletics, Javelin Throw, Srilankan Dilhan and Nadeeka Lakmali got gold and silver by covering the throw distance of 55.02 meters and 54.41 meters, respectively. Likewise, Kumari Shamila (India) has won bronze medal with 53.64 meter Javelin throw record.

New SAG record has been created in men’s Javelin Throw under the 13th South Asian Games. Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan broke the earlier throw record of India 83.23 meters by a new distance of 86.23 meters. The second and third position has been made by Shivpal Singh (India) with 84.16 meters and Sumedha Jagath (Srilnaka) with 74.79 meters.
