China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) is China’s first national exhibition based on the theme of consumer products and the largest consumer products exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region. The first highly-anticipated CICPE kicked off in Haikou last May. Covering 80,000 square meters, the Expo gathered leading global brands and high-quality consumer products from China and attracted buyers at home and abroad by building a specialized international exhibition and trading platform. It provided display and trading opportunities for consumer products from all countries to enter the Chinese market and create business opportunities for China and other countries to sell consumer products to the world. A total of 1,505 enterprises and 2,628 high-quality consumer product brands from 70 countries and regions (including China) attended the Expo. During the Expo, exhibitors received many domestic and foreign buyers and professional visitors. Many of them signed memorandum of understandings.

China International Consumer Products Expo

The 2nd CICPE starts from July 26 to 30 in Haikou, focusing on “high-quality, new, excellent and special” consumer products. The Expo is expected to improve the quality of international exhibitors, making exhibitions more internationalized and increasing the number of first launches and exhibitions. This year’s exhibition area will be expanded from 80,000 square meters in the first CICPE to 100,000 square meters. The newly added space will be used for international product exhibitions. The global product exhibition area totals 80,000 square meters, including six pavilions. The domestic product exhibition area totals 20,000 square meters, including two pavilions and a newly added exhibition area for high-quality China-made products. A series of content-filed activities will also be held, including the global consumer products forum. Many global leading brands will present their first show of new products. Expressly, the international fashion week, as an essential part of the 2nd CICPE, will adopt “indoor + seaside” show venues. It will feature a fashion ceremony incorporating nine activities, including a fashion conference, showroom, and pavilion flash show.
